Scientific Advisory Council
The Scientific Advisory Council (SAC) of the Association of Cost Engineering of Kazakhstan is a standing advisory body of the Association.
The Council brings together leading specialists in architecture, urban planning and construction, construction pricing, cost engineering, digitalisation and construction information classification. Its main purpose is to provide expert support for the Association’s projects, develop evidence-based recommendations and contribute to the development of the industry.
Key responsibilities
- Reviewing draft methodological guides, methodological documents, recommendations and industry standards.
- Preparing expert opinions and proposals to improve the regulatory framework.
- Reviewing the results of scientific research in construction pricing.
- Developing recommendations for advancing construction resource classification and cost engineering.
- Participating in discussions of other matters related to the Association’s activities.
